It appears that the Kobo readers do support Adobe DRM so all the e-books on http://Professionalpoker.com and http://twoplustwostore.com will work .

If you have the Kobo reader, buy the books at the stores linked above. You will be sent a download link. Follow the directions on the kobo help page I linked.

yeah, i was all excited to get a kindle fire and then i found out they don't sell it to canada and most of the content functionality won't work in canada (i.e. you can't just get someone in usa to buy it for you and then just use it). i see though that amazon has ones they sell in canada, but certainly not as good a deal as the kindle fire.

i was looking at RIM Playbook's today. they've drastically dropped the price and i think the product actually got very good reviews. i wonder if they'll continue the product line though. anyway, if interested news.google.com the story of RIM drastically dropping the prices. could be a good option

What about the new Nook?

The old Nooks supported Adobe DRM so I would assume the new ones would as well. Research their specs.

I should have been more specific. I was wondering about Canada having access to the Nook.
