Really looking forward to it though, as i'm sure everyone else is. Be cool to check out the cover design, the usual community cards and a couple guns is a little mundane.

Audio version FTW! (I don't play SNG's anymore but will watch Collin's SNG videos just to hear him talk)

If this is release date 20th Sep, then when will it reach retail? Mid Oct? How about on Amazon? I stay in Asia.

I can say that I have seen phenomal progress since Moshman started posting in the HU forums. He consistantly plays at the highest levels of HUSNGs.

He has put a lot of focus on theory and equities. He has also been consulting and talking to many posters. Many of these posters are coaches, and normally do not give out their concepts for free. This has been a collabrative project, and with that, I think this will be the best books written since MoP.

Moshman has also done the work that a losing poster should be doing: perusing and analyzing many of the important posts that are found in the forum. Many posts have dealt with the psychology of playing. The psychology of boredom and tilt. The changes in player thinking as you advance through the levels. The expected value of many plays. Negating the imbalance of postion. Continuation betting thoery. The pitfalls of SAGE and other systems. Late game strat, etc.

If all these concepts are covered, plus the psychological considerations, reading your opponent, and considering the "change" taken place in every game, then this book will be invaluable to most any player.

I am wondering what the target audience will be. Beginner, Intermediate, advanced?

I hope this book will be a success, because I really want to see this form of poker explode with popularity.

We will have it up for pre-sale around Aug 20th and will ship within a day of when the printer delivers it to 2+2.

So he is a HSNL sng player? The book covers cash as well so I suspected there was a HU reg who helped him... can you guys disclose who?

It is now up for pre-release sale at a 20% discount. The image is Gonzo's cover in what may be the final form.

How long will the pre-order last? I wont have a new credit card until next week.

I came to 2p2 looking for a HU book and happened across this thread. Looking forward to it now.

Nice touch with the KQo. Would've figured a standard AK vs. JJ, but you flipped the script and went with the marriage.

Looks good though in all seriousness. I guess you've solidified yourself permanent employment as 2+2's resident cover designer after PNL. Good Job and look forward to reading it.

I'm kinda tired of seeing douchebags with pocket aces on poker book covers, and I'd guess that most everyone else is also. Plus, it's a book on HU... I was actually going with KQ vs 99 earlier on but it didn't look as pretty.

Anyway, done, looking forward to reading

Although the "wink, wink, nudge, nudge" aspect of having the Jh Ks vs 99 on the cover would have been priceless.

That might be the next book I get, but first I need to work my game up and move to Italy (where one needs to use a proxy and not pay taxes), and after a couple months of rest, I have time and energy for this. In about a year or two.

Actually yea, I'd be interested in knowing who you consulted with. Also, do you have any stats at HS HUSNGs?
