Hello Dear 2p2 forum members,

I've been playing MTT's lately and have noticed that my Heads-up play regressed alot, so i'm looking forward to improving it. Thinking about reading a book, maybe Collin Moshman's Heads Up No Limit Holdem. Or take up some kind of coaching site membership. But i'm not sure where to start, so I'm wide open to your suggestions. Any of your opinions would be taken to consideration.

Thanks in advance.

P.S. ( sorry if i missed similar topic , just didin't seem to find one.)

I read some positive reviews about the Moshman HU book but haven't read it myself. (I'm sure there's a topic about this on the forum!) In Balugawhales book Easy Game there's a very good chapter about heads up but if you don't play cashgames I think the book is too expensive just to buy it for the HU chapters.
At Deuces Cracked, there are some HU series (Dogishead) that are worth watching.

I've got the book but haven't read it yet. I think it can only help.

Moshman's book is a good value, especially for beginner's.

Some more advanced players don't seem to appreciate it nearly as much, though I've heard from some that say it is a good primer and well worth the money.

I would suggest you pay particular attention to the parts of Moshman's book about different player types and how to exploit them. It's a good introduction to the basic player types you'll encounter in heads up sngs and how to exploit those.

As far as coaching sites, somebody else can more objectively answer that for you (though your question in the coaching advice forum will probably give you more answers about that).
