i want to get everyones opinion on this book. not sure if i should finish reading this book.

i've had this book for a couple of years now and still stuck in the preflop section. its kind of confusing and the formulas are all over the place.

for instance, to calculate the max freq the remaining players should 3bet a EP rfi, first calculate for alpha

risk/(risk + reward)

then calculate for inverse of each players 3bet freq.

x^5= alpha

then 1 minus x is the max each player should 3bet.

but then when calculate how often blinds should 3bet btn. its dividing mdf between the 2 players...

im afraid the rest of the book might be just as convoluted. should i keep reading? what do you guys think?

it appears this book isnt completely mathematical, its like full of opinions and philisophical theories.

Still, it has lots og good premises. The ideas and formulas can really help build a solid foundation for an A game.
