If we decide to call, we are x/c or x/r 100% of time and re-evaluate turn. This is how i play 910s 10js qj kj kq aj most of the time from BB. Serious question, mayb im leaking here..

Okay I have never done this mathematically, just gone with what is standard but hopefully some math will prove that it's correct to fold anyway.

Given that the average guy opens the CO around 28% in zoom, we'll plug in a 28% (22+,A2s+,K4s+,Q8s+,J8s+,T8s+,98s,A5o+,KTo+,QTo+,J To) range to stove vs QJo.
This leaves QJ with 43% equity.
We are calling 2 to win 6.5 (assuming 3x raise) so we technically need ~31% equity if every board gets checked down. The trouble is, without initiative or position we don't realise our full 43% equity. At a guess, I would say we realise 65%ish of it (figure i recall from a video). 43*0.65=30, which is less than the 31% equity freshhold so we can't call properly.

The 'realisation number' will change with your edge on the player, and the equity required will change with the opening size, but you also have to remember that rake changes it so if it's 1/2% over it's probs a fold anyway.

I just made the move up to 5nl zoom, I've only played 20k hands so far but it's very different IMO. It's much more aggressive, more raises and much more 3bets (preflop anyway). Also it's much more rare to get people allin when you have monster hands. It just seems harder to get value for your good hands in general.

That's what I've noticed so far anyway.

I am running at 4.22bb/100 over 15k hands. Obviously the sample is really small, but i am running 150 dollars below EV.
I don't know what you would class as good though. I think 5bb/100 is pretty good. Some might consider good as 10bb/100.

Same (4bb/100) winrate here over 40k 25nl zoom hands but 2.6bb/100 expected. Good is like what the top 10% of regs achieve I guess. I just wonder given that I did beat 50nl and 100nl with bumhunting with a decent winrate (100k hands or w/e), so I wonder if the problem is the rake or amount of fish for my marginal winrate or maybe small sample or that I am simply not good enough. Guess we will never know since it is also possible I did run hot at higher stakes.

Worth noting that anything under 200k hands is fairly irrelevant WRT to even coming close to determining your true w/r. That said I have never seen any one with a w/r over 6bb/100 anywhere higher than 50nl over a big sample.

For PLO zoom, I find that if I double one stack at a table, I'll 'sit out' and then do the same while adding one table at a time. I can eventually have up to 4 stacks with double the initial buyin, which is huge in PLO where stack advantage is key, especially in seeing more flops.

Today I played 4000 hands, all nl100 and lost $1600. Won one pot that was bigger than 200bb. Literally not even tilted, just in shock at how that's even possible haha.

    Also one of the last hands of the day;

    PokerStars - $1 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
    Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

    Hero (BTN): $100.00
    SB: $202.91
    BB: $82.86
    UTG: $105.94
    MP: $50.68
    CO: $100.85

SB posts SB $0.50, BB posts BB $1.00

Pre Flop: (pot: $1.50) Hero has 5 5

UTG raises to $3.00, fold, fold, Hero calls $3.00, fold, BB calls $2.00

    Flop: ($9.50, 3 players) 5 7 6
BB checks, UTG bets $5.00, Hero raises to $15.00, BB raises to $79.86 and is all-in, UTG calls $74.86, fold

    Turn: ($184.22, 2 players) J

    River: ($184.22, 2 players) 5

BB shows 7 7 (Full House, Sevens full of Fives) (Pre 51%, Flop 73%, Turn 84%)
UTG shows A Q (One Pair, Fives) (Pre 49%, Flop 27%, Turn 16%)
    BB wins $181.42

Guess it just wasn't meant to be my day

UTG was a pretty big whale but BB had been incredibly nitty over 200 hand sample so thought folding was fine, pretty gay if he has 89 though.
It's the 4th set I've folded in two days on non flush boards, run so bad

impressive that you fold sets while stuck 16bi's lol

still think a fold is meh, both players are fish and he could easily have an overpair some %

Yeah cbf to do maths, the others were much more clear folds because they were on the river.
This one is probably a call mathematically but still close, and I had a feeling.
