mad session, 33 on 367 (he had 45) and 88 on 8TJ he had 9Q also AA vs KK board KKA36..Nonetheless, a decent session, lots of hands played, about level for the day maybe? Expect to play a lot more hands in my next session when all the fish flood in after work.

I hope they don't allow 6 at the same stake, it just allows for more regs to be in the player pool.
Thats true, but i don't hate regs, regs hate me!

sigh....I knew it was coming but still couldn't prepare for the epic downswing that is zoom.....last 2 days now!!!

Thinking I am just going play a couple thousand hands of 2nl zoom....that will either give me confidence.....or destroy my self esteem lol.......

I have a problem that every time I move to the next table the little pokerstars colour coding popup comes up wherever my mouse is when it switches meaning I have to click the table twice, once to select the table and get rid of the colour coding popup and then click again to fold/check/call/bet. Has this happened to anybody else?

a few sessions of playing zoom and it seems like every time i feel like im up a few buyins i check the HEM and results are always different than what i thought it was gonna be. sometimes hands wouldn't appear and following up is difficult, which leads to paranoia, i mean thinking im up 4 buyins for an hour and then checking and seeing that im down its like a big shock and quite tilting. dont wanna check after every hand cause that leads of results oriented thinking..

heh I have it open entire time + keep constant check on HEM2 active session. I like to know when it's time for me to call it a session if I feel like I'm losing my edge.

I'm doing the same thing. I'm checking session stats every 5 minutes...but probably not a good idea as others have mentioned.

The cashier should not determine your session length. It's crazy to keep looking because while you are doing that, you aren't concentrating on your poker.

I never check my stats until i'm done with a session, if I can't stop thinking about a hand I just sit out, close the tables, open PT4 and review the hand and the session - then jump back into the game.

zzz, i open raise 5x utg and still get called by KQo who somehow always hits the nuts, I 3 bet massive 10x and still get called by 55 who somehow always hits a set against my KK, just wtf!

It's just the way my mind works and it works for me.

eg tonight I dropped 2BI in about 300 hands and noticed that in active session. I immediately was able to see where it was and what I had been doing, noticed I was playing too loose for my game and had called some bad bets in marginal spots. As soon as I saw that I tightened up to my usual game and pulled back up to 2BI up before calling it a session due to friend being here soon.

For a lot of people I understand the distraction issue, but I currently use 3 monitors for information and work both here and at work, I need my mind to be constantly processing information and with dropping to 4 tables of zoom I need more input

These stats are meaningless without information on relevant stack-sizes, positions and possible reads on people.

Apart from that, there is no need for hyperbole...I'm sure that you aren't ALWAYS losing to a set when you have KK, and if you are then maybe you need to look at your game.

TPTK with AK on flop vs set on river, nut flush on turn vs full house on river, -2 buyins in under 5 mins, down about 30 buyins so far with zoom

Any of you suffer from MASSIVE TILT with zoom?

I sat down looking to play about 20 mins worth of zoom, and lost -4 buyins when I lost AA 4 times in a row when I got it in preflop when some fish calls me with K7s and A9o.

I'm not sure what I can do, take a break and come back? Is it better to play with 50 bb's in this situation to minimize my loss?

Take a break. Maybe even for the whole day.(depends how well/bad you deal with tilt)

I had the same thing 3 days ago(lost with three AA all in preflop within 1 minute). I should have stopped right there to take a break, instead I went on to play and ended up with -10 buyin.

Are you playing with 100bb or 50? If the player pool is so large facing so many unknowns, is there merit to playing short stacked?

I always play with 100bb and autoreload, not a fan of playing short but it might work for you.

Also having a HUD helps a lot.

If you are 30 buyins down, you should move down a limit, play less and read more. Just for a little bit. When you are ready to play your A game, continue.

If you have the mental fortitude to lose 4 hands in a row, all in pre with AA and carry on playing your A game, then I salute you sir! I would stop playing and have a nice hot cup of tea.

There are too many beats and not enough brags in this thread.
