Sorry i'm a big loser posting this but i'm pretty happy got $60 now from $16 this morning. By some $1.20 sngs. Got to like $25 with tht. Took a sneaky risk at $2.20 , 180 man mtt. Managed 3rd place for $43 i think it was.

Where to go from here now. Try to grind 5NL? But then again i can barely beat 2NL. Maybe work at my 2NL but this may be tedius.

I swear i am a SnG player. I might play 6 man sng. However i like the turbo 6 man but i am not rolled for this yet am i?

I will do more research before i jump to the tables again. I followed 2NL complete micro guide but it didn't seem to work much. Hmmm. Might just play volume of $2.20 HU. Are they hard to generate a + BR from this?

I played this guy who was very good at it and is up to about 13k from just playing heads up. Check out his stats his username was Hirnschnell. 18 year old. Very impressive...

I suggest you stick with SNG's till you get your bankroll up abit more.

HU can be a monster drain on your account if you got any leaks that are easy to find.

stick with SNG's, if you have experience with HU, then go with it. if not, build your roll with the 6 man SNG's or if you like mtts as you mentioned (180 man), then play them.

Keep playing $1.20 sngs and work on your discipline like I keep telling you too... hopping up to play a $2 sng when you are on a short bankroll and you aren't really willing to deposit is really bad.. stay at the bottom.. learn not take high variance shots right now.. and grind until you hit like $100..then start your $3.25 6max turbos you want to play.

rake is 20% of buyin...

I always thought that the lowest level of sng should be avoided.

For quite awhile now tiger has had trouble with sticking to any sort of bankroll management and he starts to play too high and loses his money... he really needs to learn how to be disciplined enough to stick to any sort of management.

Stick with sngs for now until br is much higher. Grind the $1s. The br needed for sngs is 100x BI so wait awhile to move up in sngs. Be patient and disciplined, those are the secrets to building up a br. Don't get frustrated since it isn't an insane amount of money, look long term. Most will deviate from br management and go bust. be disciplined and build it up. I started with a br of $200 and have built it up to $2,600 by being disciplined and following br management. gl

A little birdy tells me that you have *a lot* of experience with sit'n'goes, so I think you should concentrate on developing your strongest game, and crush the stakes you're rolled for before diversifying into different formats.

However, I think bankroll isn't the *real* issue. Playing a little above the recommendations for your bankroll, or a little under, has far less effect on your results than your actual skill relative to opposition. Your best move may very well be to take a week or two vacation from poker, with a week of not even thinking about the game, then another week studying a book or two (maybe specifically to the subject of sitn'go strategy)... THEN return, play low stakes to develop upon what you've learned, and then hopefully you'll find yourself at the point where you're truly ready to take your game to the next level. The next level of skill, that is, not necessarily money level.

it looks like you might do well with SnGs. I think at this stage of bankroll it is a good idea to stick with them. Good luck sir! keep up the good work.

lol, I remember you making loads of topics about building a bankroll from $1.32 or something like that, got to give it to 'ya, you're a determined son of a bitch!

I still think you should stick to cash, but if you're enjoying SnG's, stick with it I guess, good luck!

Sweet rake, crushable, easy moveup path through 3 6 and 12 with even better rake% and pretty much the same skillset and decent volume going if you want to play more tables in time.
Just gon't get downhearted when you OOTM 20 in a row or go 100+ breakeven. It's going to happen and there's nothing you can do about it. If you can play at all well you'll get more than compensated for these by the rungood sets. You may already know this but just in case
