Winning too much? Winning too much?

Hello,

This is my first time posting on your forum but I have been reading the threads for a few weeks now.

I have been playing poker for half a month and I am up a lot. I deposited $30 and now my account reads over 10k. I have been playing mostly $10 CAP NL 6 max tables and I am up about $600 after 1 hour.

I 12 table and I am just wondering if this is luck or something else.

When browsing the forum most people seem to be more educated than me but looking about the amount they win it seems to be less.

I know as a beginner this shouldn't be possible, any idea why I am winning?

It could be that you are very good or maybe you are running hot. If you don't have much experience playing i would go towards the later. Anyways just make sure to set some money aside for the inevitable downswing. Use proper BR management and move down stakes if you start loosing a lot.

Luck, but that's cool, enjoy it while it lasts because it doesn't go on forever unfortunately.

Thanks, you mean an event that is very likely to occur has in fact historically occurred? Good to know.

I not sure what you are trying to say?

First time I played was at 25/50 Cap tables? With a $30 stack.

Sorry if my post was unclear.

$30 to $10k in half a month playing 10nl.

So just 997 buys in up.......

Most obvious BS ever!

Can we just clarify some of these figures?

Are you saying ...

- you started with $30
- you now have $10000+
- you're playing games in which the big blind is $0.50
- you've played 150000 hands

Please confirm or correct.

It isn't really possible to sustain a decent winrate at CAP, with a very few exceptions my understanding is that the vast majority of the BEST players of that game only manage to just beat the rake or are slight losers after rake / slight winners after rakeback.

You are on an enormous heater I would guess.

Yes it is unclear, you can't join a 25/50 table with only $30. If you meant the blinds are 25 & 50 cents, write the numbers properly and include the decimal points.
