I have reviewed a few of my HH's for $2.50 180 mans and came across some surprising bust outs. I currently run PT4 trial with table ninja so I'm multi-tabling
and just focus on the stats and basing my plays on them without actually witnessing my AIPF to showdowns. My sample is not huge so i won't have a great deal deal of info on my opponents tendencies yet but after my HH reviews i have seen some wide ass call ranges of just over 40% of hands for 8-15bb shoves in position. Now clearly this is a problem because I'm losing money. I'm not sure this is just short term variance or whether I'm shoving too wide for today's standard of player. If it is a variance i should hope i come through it sooner rather than later but if not it means i have to tighten my range significantly but how can playing a narrower range help if i end up playing off a 4bb stack every game?

Are you getting the chips in ahead of their calling range? If so no problem.

I have been generally pushing a wide range 50%+ in some cases but only first in pot in position but to be snapped by J7 sooted and booted etc. I just assumed that even with reads it's ridiculous to defend that wide or is there a strong defence for holding blinds with 10x sooted etc. I heard the games years ago were super soft because most of the pool had no concept of strategy and what not but today it just seems like the games are so reg infested and have low roi potential?
