So sometimes when I play 1/2 live ill buy for 100 or 200.

I find it hard to play against the guy waiting for 2/5 game, who doesnt really care about the money..

you know the guy, makes 30 to see a flop every time.

it seems if I wait for a prenmuim hand, ill just blind off my stack... sometimes at smaller hosues changing tables is not an option.

How do you play against these manics, its so hard to range them when there range is any two cards

you'll blind off your stack? at best you're getting three orbits an hour, that's $9/hour

lol at "it's so hard to range them when their range is any two cards", their range is, er, any two cards

If they are waiting for a 2-5 seat to open up, I doubt they are playing any two cards. ATC?? That's the drunk guy a couple of seats away who just won a small jackpot at slots and wants to buy everyone a drink. Be his friend.

Are you talking about one guy in general or are you saying everyone waiting for 2/5 "doesn't care about money"?

If there is one guy who was waiting for a game and picked up a few good hands and raised or 3bet to 30, that doesn't mean everyone waiting for a 2/5 player doesn't care about money. When I play 1/2 waiting for bigger games I'm probably one of the tightest players at the table (for a 1/2 game).

you need 10 buyins for live games.. that's my bankroll management anyways. so I take 1000 and buyin 100 and play loose pre and tight on flop. it works against fish and it's fun. sure, you should fold 80% of the hands but vodka and whisky make that impossible.

If you are a rec player , however, serious BM is a waste of time. You need no set number of buyins. That is only important for pros and wannabe pros. Just have a poker hobby budget outside your life roll.
