I went back to Party today after a long time and a lot of people have these little yellow smilies with headphones on or something beside their name. What are these? I have googled and searched and see no mention of them anywhere.

I have the same question! But for me it's mostly next to my seat.. hope it isn't the sign of the biggest fish at the table :O

It means they have their chat switched off. When I first saw the smiley I didn't even notice the headphones.

God damn those things drive me ****ing crazy. ****ing hate looking at HUD stats through them.

The smiley faces on our site is a new feature that has been added after the last update. When a player disables their chat then a smiley face with headphones appears by their screen name.

If you have blocked the chat of another player a face with X on it's mouth will be shown next to their name.

That makes sense. It does suck trying to see HUD stats through them. It would be much better if they maybe had "(No Chat)" in the hover box or something.
