It isn't a lot, as I am a student. I like playing heads up sit and go tournaments. I'm on Full Tilt.

Should I play cash games? What articles should I read and what do's and don'ts can you guys give me in these games?

For cash games, FT has short stack 2NL tables with an .80 max buyin. I've been playing them since depositing $30 a few weeks ago and it's just right for a small bankroll.

The $1 sit n goes aren't bad but you can blow through $15 in no time. Not sure what the HU situation is there.

You should definitely play cash games while your roll is so small. The variance of heads-up poker, especially SNGs, can very quickly demolish your roll.

What articles should you read? I dunno, start by going to a subforum like Micro Stakes NL or Micro Full Ring (or any strategy forum) and check out the sticky threads. Many subforums have grouped lots of links to strategy threads and articles in one place.

Then start reading hand history threads, posting hand history threads, commenting on hand history threads......etc.

You can't really look in a bad place for advice. As for "tips & tricks" you will find lots of answers in the forums. There aren't really any meaningful one-shot answers to your question, though, because a majority of the time the "right answer" depends completely on the specifics of a given hand.

So just jump in and read, post, and play like crazy.

Play what you enjoy playing. If it's SnG's, find a game that's 1/30th of your bankroll or the smallest game available, whichever is smallest.

Ie, if you've got $15, try and find a $0.50 game. If the smallest you can find is $1, play that, you just might need to redeposit at some point if you runbad or aren't good enough to tread water yet.

As far as advice goes, you're not going get anything beyond "play ABC" because this entire site is dedicated to discussing what you're asking. Each forum has a "sticky" post which covers the basics, then just read the forums daily and contribute your advice to other forum members.

If you're playing single-table tourneys, check out the STT forum.

If you decide you want to take a stab at cash games, check out the microstakes PL/NL forum.

As an aside, unless you think stuff like 2girls1cup is really, really cool, I'd recommend staying out of BBV. =)
