Bona, why do you win almost every one of them? =(

I wanted to join, but had to go out at the time. Oh well.

Sorry you didnt make it. It was really fun. See you Sunday maybe.

btw I can't let your first comments stand. I just shows us how small sample size can give us the wrong impression. My win rate is less than mediocre at SnG's. I have always heard +20% ROI is decent with some doing better. My paltry 7% is not very good. I really don't play SnG's though except for SHENANIGANS and an occassional diversion, so the fact it is too low is not a big concern to me. That doesn't keep me from wanting your $5 though

Sorry this is a brag, but you guys are pretty much the only poker buddies I got so got to tell somebody!

Took 2nd in a 26$ 11.5kgtd 6maxKO tourney last night, ship the 2k+!! Pretty underrolled for that buyin tourney since I cashed out most of my money when I got married a couple months ago, but when I cashed out from FT I converted my ironman medals to tokens, but hadnt got to play them yet. Was pretty down on myself as last month was on a heater for first couple weeks and been breakeven for the past couple weeks and my confidence was shot.

Sorry, know this wasnt related to the games, but didnt really have anyone to tell bout this, my wife did sweat the last couple tables with me, funny how she doesnt mind the poker as much in that type of situation See you guys tomorrow night hopefully for the tourney!!

WOOT WOOT GO TREEFARM! Nice Job! It is such a great feeling when you win a sizable tournament, and you did it with just your FT points! That is so fantastic and I don't think this is off topic because like you said we like to hear how you are doing.

LOL your wife sweating you.. damn it the bad thing is now you have to spend at least 50% of that on her or she won't sweat you next time!

You should get an account for her and transfer her like $25-50. Get her started playing because we need another female player.

Nice job MrTree. A good feeling I am sure. Please ignore Janelle's suggestion that you start your wife with a bankroll. We do not not, in fact, need more female players. My bankroll has suffered enough.

I hope you will donate $5 of your winnings to the SHENANIGANS game tonight

hooray tree! nothing like a big win at the end of a downswing to make you feel on top of the world. New wife, and a new wife that is starting to like poker... you're firing on all cylinders!

Thanks guys! My wife used to be and still is bugged once in awhile with me playing alot of poker, but since it is pretty much the only reason we could afford to go to st marteen for our honeymoon shes been a bit more understanding. Shes joked about playing a couple times and I've offered to work with her, but shes not really into grinding and studying, and having played some home games with her, she'd have to do both, shes pretty crazy sometimes when playing, you guys would love to play with her

Hardest part for me is balancing BR building and withdrawing at this point, trying to make poker a supplemental income to my normal work, so trying to build the roll, while keeping out of debt for the most part, renovate house, ect. Not to mention the confidence issues, its hard to put in enough volume with various games, cash/sng/mtt to know what I'm actually winning at and what im getting lucky in. I really wish I could just know without a doubt that I can beat this type of game(whichever it may be) and grind knowing its just variance that will swing back up.

What is this; like Sundays and Fridays?

I probably can't participate often ... maybe every now and then on a Sunday.

Would play NLH or with a $5.50 BI any other game I reasonably am aware of like 7stud, Omaha (Hi/Lo), Razz, LH, and stuff.

Can anyone teach me during these games to be able to beat some small stake horse games just for the hell of it? lol.

More realistically just show me how to play PLO close to somewhat competently....

Sundays = NLHE
Thursday = game picked by previous sunday winner. (from a short list bona can provide. he claims that this is all stars lets him set up, but there's a suspicious number of limit games on it...)

games are ~7pm Pacific, on stars. Private tourney tab, look for Shenanigans. Password is supbro.

we'd love to see you there!

Well dang Janelle. Nothing like starting a search for beauty in a sewer
Don Quixote comes to mind. I do recall the conversation and am trying to do my part (in the forums I post in that is) Probably won't have a positive effect though because I have been cross ways several times in my forum of choice but haven't really made a dent. I just had another one this week with one of them. If grates on me that you sometimes can't have a discourse about strategy without being the "beneficiary" of rude discourse. I applaud your effort. No matter how futile

Theone & poker bum: game on in less than 12 hours the tourney is posted. Enter and welcome!!

hmm you guys must be crazy, I enjoy BBV and BBV4L (wtf is BBV4, I don't a remember BBV3 or BBV2) and I think it has a net positive influence on these forums.

If you want to go after aforum, politics is probally a better choice.
