I was just wondering what time and what to search to find the games.

We have been playing NLHE every Sunday on Stars at about 22:00 Stars Lobby time (which is EDT) We play again on Thursday with Sundays winner namimg the game. (Last week it was stud/8)

These are found in the Tourney section in Stars lobby under the private tab and are always labeled SHENANIGANS. Password for these is supbro.

Other, usually ring, games are spontaneous and get posted here and/or in micros forum by table name. There is often some waiting in line for those and they are not dependable in either frequency, duration, or number but they are always a lot of fun.

These games are populated by all sorts, from true beginners to long time vets and from people who play seriously to people who are totally donking or drunking around.

You can usually enter the private tourneys at least a day or two ahead. If you join in a ring game please give a "wassup" or a "supbro" so the 2+2ers will recognize you and respond. Chat abuse in these games will not be reported although it may be graded

2 folds, johnnytt raises to t90, 1 fold, Schlubs raises to t250, folds to hero...

AK is a good hand, even if its off suit. I would call the raise, and see what the flop brings. The villain could have AA or KK, and then you would be in trouble. However, he could also easily have AK (chop chop), AQ, KQ, AJ (favourite in these cases), QQ - TT (you're behind, but you have outs).

If you feel post-flop that he has AA -TT, you might be able to get away from your hand based on your read of the situation ... if he has a hand that you dominate though, you may be in a position to stack said foe...

It was really fun to watch the tourny, I hope to make the next one.
