saw this. was pretty shocked at first, the WSOP wont be the same without Ivey. especially with his long term bracelet aim. but fair play to him for what he is doing, its a big stand from a big character in poker, theres not many others who would/could do this.

I like Ivey but I think the statement has more to do with preserving his image/capital than caring for player funds. In any event it's not good news for FTP and players. What I could make out from the nonsensical rabble in the quadjacks threads is even more disturbing however. I probably should not be surprised.

I think the fact that he is not playing in any events really makes it hard for him to be doing this as an imige only deal . i think he has poker players in mind and not just himself . Thats my take on it anyhow .

Can someone explain the opt in deals on RPM ? Why dont they just auto opt you in ? Do i have to email them for each days opt in ?
