Was always pretty good at the touraments and have been trying my luck at the cash game, and well,I suck. It seem whatever I raise they call and get there. I ve been running a little bad but I know I m doing so much wrong. Just looking for general suggestions on strategy or even reading material. Thanks for any help

If you're playing full ring check out the Microstakes FR sticky it's a compendium of hugely valuable information. The sticky of all stickies imo. Also check out the COTW threads over there, tonnes of information to help you learn to crush NL FR.

In terms of books - the poker blueprint is pretty good and slowhabbit has an advert for it in the Commerical marketplace.

Tournaments require more preflop skill and cash games require more postflop skill. It's a different mentality.

i feel your pain eric...i always looked at tourneys and cash games both as marathons that require patience, cept tourneys require you to sprint in the end.
