Three hands played in a row Three hands played in a row

Looking for a little feedback on a few hands I played earlier tonight. Format is a triple up sit and go full ring game where the top 3 players are payed out evenly. These hands happened very early in the game where starting stacks were around 1500.

Hand one

Hero is dealt 7 5 in the big blind. Blinds are 10-20

UTG limps 20
UTG1 raises to 40
Small blind calls
Hero calls getting good pot odds
UTG calls

Flop comes 46Q (pot is 160)

Everyone checks to the initial raiser UTG1 who bets 60

Small blinds Folds. Hero calls. UTG calls.

Turn comes J (pot is 340)

Hero checks. UTG checks. UTG1 bets 100

Hero calls. UTG folds.

River comes 9 (pot is 540)

Final Board is: 46QJ9

Hero bets 270

Good place to bluff?

Hand two

Hero is in small blind with 10 7 . Stack is currently 1830

Folds around to UTG3 who limps
cut off limps
button limps
We call again with great pot odds
BB calls

Flops comes 398 (pot is 100)

Hero checks. Big Blind checks. UTG3 fires 240. Cut off raises to 657. Button folds. Hero folds. UTG3 shoves. Cut off calls.

Turn K
River 8

Final Board 398K8

UTG3 shows Q9: scooping pot
Cut off shows J10

Figured I was beat here but was fold the correct play?

Hand 3

Hero is on the button with A6 . Blinds are now 15-30 and we have a stack of 1820.

Folds around to cut off who shoves his short stack (120 chips)

Hero calls (should I have raised?)

Small blind (stack 1490) and big blind call (stack 1270).

Flop comes KJ A (total pot 480)

small blind checks. bb fires 120. Hero calls

Turn comes A (pot 720)

BB fires 720. Hero calls

River comes J (pot 2160)

Final Board is KJ AAJ

BB shoves last 340. Hero calls

1 - no, the 9 doesn't complete anything you can realistically bluff with. lol clicking the half pot button, stop autopiloting and actually think about bet sizing

2 - standard fold

3 - i'd just fold pre

Fair enough. Typically don't play those type hands but I'm sure we all get stuck in these situations getting good odds. Anything you can add to be helpful though? Don't mind the jabs but tell me something to improve and get better. Thx

1. Please elaborate on the issue with sizing. Genuinely want to get better with this.

After calling 2 sts with 75, just check-fold the river. Donking as a bluff doesn't work very well against someone that's bet twice multiway.

Fold pre with the T7 in SB. Don't call with crappy hands in the worst possible position.

A6s is reasonably OK (you can also fold pre) as you'll often be able to check it down when someone is all in for 4bb. As played, nice runout for you, as villain seems to have flopped a straight, so you're probably better served by folding trips on the turn when he pots it. Preservation of chips is really important in satty-style games.

The point is it's lazy. You're not thinking about how much to bet, you're just clicking a button because it is there. I've seen it twice in two posts of yours, if I'd have seen the same in actual play I'd have made a note to indicate "likes clicking buttons, autopilots" and exploit that I'm paying more attention than you are.

HAND ONE

Fold pre-flop.

As played previously, I'd consider leading the flop.

As played previously, turn seems ok; his bet is really small so you're getting around 4.4 to 1 directly.

As played previously, river bluff looks awful. What do you expect him to fold? You check/called twice and then led river when a ton of draws missed. Your bet gives him 3 to 1 so for a call to be good his hand has to be good 25% of the time. I would expect that you get called a lot and he pretty much never folds a pair (certainly not a pair of Q's or J's).

HAND TWO

Fold pre-flop.

As played previously, I'd lead flop.

As played previously, your flop fold is good.

HAND THREE

I'd have 3bet pre-flop to try to just isolate the CO and run the hand out HU.

As played previously, flop is good.

As played previously, turn is close. It might be a fold but it is an annoying spot to have to fold. I dunno; I dunno why all of the sudden he is betting pot. Any stats/reads/info on the opponent?

As played previously, obviously call river.

EDIT:

When I wrote the above, I did not realize that this was a "triple up game". In that case, you should probably lean more toward folding in general.

Thanks for the detailed feedback. No stats on the players as it was one of the first hands of the session and I play with no hud on ignition.
