Hello guys,

I am experiencing a really anoying problem with my sit and go tournaments.

All the tables I am playing are stacked in the middle of my screen.

Everytime a new tournament opens it pops up to the foreground above all the other tables in my stack. Even though there haven´t been any cards dealt yet.

This means that I am within a decision and once there is a new tournament starting it pops over the table I am about to click and therefore I have to manually move the table or look in the dropdown Menu to find it.

This takes a lot of focus and sometimes even let´s me time out at some tables.

I tried shutting down all third party tools and the problem still occured.


Even the Pokerstars support was unable to help.

I´m working on this problem for more than 5 days now and literally tried everything. Even completly deleting Pokerstars from my PC and downloading it new again.

If I don´t solve that problem within in 2 days I am probably going to buy another notebook.


So please two plus two there is 50 dollar up for grabs for the one who can help.

You can design and save layouts. Open up some tables without registering, tile them how you like them. Add 1 more than you'll ever need. Move them where you want them and hit "Save Layout" in the relevant menu.

I've not used Pokerstars for a while, so haven't got precise info, or taken screengrabs, but it used to be easy to save default layouts for as many tables as you require, such that the nth table would always appear exactly where you wanted it to.

EDIT: This worked for tiled tables. Stacking might be somewhat different.

Maybe its popping up because its giving you the option to hit your ready

You could try checking the "mark me as [im ready] at the start of sit and go tournaments]"

Go to, table settings-table layouts-custom table layout you be should able to back to old tile screen layout or customized ones.

You can create two stacks. One for tables that need action and one for everything else. Your new tables will go into the stack that doesn't need your attention right then.

I am the author of StackAndTile, but unfortunately, I don't think SaT will solve the OP's problem either.


What you describe is a feature of MS Windows itself, and cannot be disabled as far as I know. Anytime ANY new window opens, whether its a Notepad document, web browser, or poker table, that new window will automatically be focused and activated as soon as it is created. There is no way that I know of to suppress this behavior. Buying a new laptop won't fix it.

But it should be easy for software like yours to focus back on whatever window had the focus before the new one came 1 millisecond later ?

This is a pokerstars 7 software problem, you cant full screen tile 4 tables.
