suggestions for handicapping a match between myself and a better player?

I play somebody from time to time heads up hold em at a local restaurant on an older electronic table for small stakes

he beats me 6/10 times on average and has offered handicap scenarios for increased stakes, I've always passed as those scenarios always appear in his favor

can you guys suggest some good handicapping scenarios that give me the edge? he's actually pretty flexible with accepting of my propositions, i just need some good ideas that give me an edge odds wise

How about you get better at poker? Shouldn't take more than about 2 hours' study to get good enough to beat a live HU player.

6/10 times isn't really useful data.

What kind of game does this electronic table offer? Tournament, cash, or both? Can you customize the tournament settings? If so, I'd just start you off with more chips. If that's not an option, he can pay a certain percentage of your buy-in.

TDA is right, it shouldn't be hard at all to beat a random live player hu. Stop being lazy.

If you're looking to handicap, get him to pay your rake/something like 3-5bb/100 hands. Given that's too complicated for random live players, if you're playing with $100 stacks get him to give you $5 or so before you start. Something like that.
