If you are new to internet or online poker it is easy to imagine nefarious activity that is extremely unlikely.

The guys at your table were probably friends and talking to each other about a funny youtube video and laughing about it. When they saw your reaction the other guy at the table was just messing with you. Unfortunately this is pretty standard and happens quite a bit online.
