In microstakes 2NL holdem, what hands should I be playing in the small blind? Can I play small small suited connectors.. big suited connectors...? Only the same hands as the earliest positions?
EDIT: I would have asked that in the microstakes subforum, but I felt like this was more of a beginner's question.

Basically this.

If it folds round to you, a general guideline is to raise all the hands you would raise from CO. But it depends a lot on BB, if he's a total nit, just raise like 90%+ until he adjusts. If he's super frisky, tighten up some and get ready to 4bet/GII light.

Other than that, what exactly the preflop action is before it gets to you, villain tendencies, stack sizes etc. all factor in and make the question too complex to answer in a post.

This is a huge question which can't be answered concisely. It depends on so many things that you'd probably get more useful help by posting a couple example hands.

Couple pointers: Usually don't flat call medium or small suited connectors. Drawing OOP sucks. But often you can steal the BB from SB with such hands. Stealing the BB with pocket pairs is usually okay. Only flat small pocket pairs when EP has opened or it's gonna be multiway because you get more implied odds. For blind defense, read up or watch some videos on polarized 3betting.
