hi guys,

i have a question in regards to the expected outcome of sit and goes. What percentage would a good player be winning before deciding to move up.

I just played 8 multi tabling 4 at a time and won 2 came 2nd twice and finished 4th the rest

.

Is this a good result or should a higher percentage of wins and cashes be expected?

Thats a good return. However, a very good sng player may not make the money in 8 sng's in a row. The sample is so minute you should read absolutely nothing into it.

I suggest reading the STT forum FAQ located here

there are two sections, 1 dealing with attainable ROI and 1 dealing with variance, downswings and sample size. I think browsing both of these sections and perhaps a few others would prove very valuable to giving you a better idea of these types of implications on the numbers. Good luck.
