Ran into AA three times with KK last night at rush and lost all three.

Still gonna jam pre-flop and never fold at low limits.

I folded KK preflop the other day, but only because the guy's min-raise/min-4-bet line was SCREAMING AA. Seriously, is there any other hand on Earth that any drooler is going to min-raise/min-4-bet ever?

Turns out I was right, too...of course, just to rub it in, the board ran out x9TJQ.

Yeah, had a few of these. There's also the min-3bet over a raise and three callers. That's aces every time. But I still don't fold. I just tank, curse loudly, then get the money in.

ALOT of snarky people play poker. U just get used to it. I'm snarky a little too I guess sometimes, but try to be nice most of the time. Alot of longtime poker players are kind of aggitated people, prob cause of all the donk suckoouts. Just ignore em. Not saying u should ignore poster mentioned here, just the snarkeyness in general that u will come across in the poker world. But if u notice the best players are usually pretty nice people. Dont let it bother u, it's just part of it.

omg. Saying "never ever ever ever fold KK preflop" is just bad and thinking like that costs people money.

You should try to put villains on ranges and proceed accordingly. You are not shoving KK cuz youre supposed to, youre shoving cuz noone folds AK/JJ+/random hand preflop. It really is close to impossible to be in a situation when folding KK is a right play, that doesnt mean that you should think:"KK, omgallin." though. Thinking like that (never fold sets, never fold overpairs in 3bet pots, baluga) WILL cost you money. These are just guidelines!!

Im telling this, cuz I failed to think for myself many, many times.
Btw, folding KK in some, rare spots in tourneys is def. the best play. Im pretty sure I saw a video where guy did ICM calc that showed folding AA to be the right play (DoN though).

There are tourney situations where you would fold it. In a cash game, never ever. Be willing to bet everything you have on the table and don't ever fold it preflop. Sometimes you will lose to AA, but you'll also lose to other hands sometimes. Still +EV to never fold.

For 100bb, basically never (almost ever)

For 150bb, usually never,

400bb pre ai with kk is prolly spew.

Some coaches say never fold it pre, and others say its about once in 50k hands that you fold it.

I tend to be in the one in 100k hands i fold kk pre, and almost always when i am the original raiser, not the 3 bettor or the 4 bettor

eg.

I am utg with KK, and raise to 4bb. 1 caller, nit rr to 16, h1 caller, and a 8/7 4 bets to 32, sb calls or shoves

Our KK looks ugly, what could sb have? We have only 4 bb in the pot, and need to shove or fold

However, if we are the 3 bettor, or the 4bettor, we are almost always going to be priced into shoving. Eg if we4bet to 32, then someone shoves, it will beonly 68 to win a huge pot

Also, the more you move up, the more aggro people are, and will 3bet/4bet with not much, and sometimes bluff.

Times you run into AA is<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< <<<<<<<<<<<<<<the times you run into QQ+ AK+JJ + bluffs
