Should I have folded? Should I have folded?

Villain is 31/19

He had previosly overbet the river and I had folded him twice. This time i thought he had missed his draws or was bluffing like i had suspected.

Should I have raised on the turn?

Looks like villain is trying to value own you. But as you say you have specific reads to say otherwise

U played it fine. Against a maniac I would flat call all streets to keep in his bluffs. U could 3bet pre hoping he 4bets bluff u but flat calling is also fine

I think this worked only on your read on this specific player.
Why would we not raise pre here?

Raise pre. I'm raising the turn because we have the TPTK + NFD, which is a metric fvckton of equity vs. bluffy fish ranges.

I'm not folding river against this guy.

folding river too against him but specifically, you're playing we'll.

If you put him on a bluff, calling every street is fine. I'd be a little worried on that river. Although this villain has junk fairly often, He can also hit a hand sometimes. A pair that sucked out trips on the river is very possible.

Since he's a loose player, 3-betting pre is an option. You want to isolate this guy with a hand that is ahead of his range.

At first I thought the river was a T and I thought, "He's crazy for calling giving river card and bet-sizing!" After looking back over hand and seeing it was a 9 I was alot more relieved on how you played this hand.

You could raise the turn but I think he'll fold alot of the time and you'll miss out on river value. If he shows up with K9, Q9, or something like that so be it.

Since he plays any junk hand, I was more scared of trips than a straight. As GenKKenobi pointed out hands like A9,K9 and even Q9 are in his range. Thankfully not this time.

IDK. Even though he is very loose I had seen him go all in with decent hands. I did not want to risk a shove without seeing the flop.

3bet pre is recommended but not mandatory

flop is a call. I don't think you can make too much of an argument for raising.

Raise turn is better due to his bet size. He's almost never reraising after that bet and he's calling very, very often.

given the turn call, you must call river. you hand is way too underrepped. Sometimes people make a small turn bet in situations where big hands are forced to raise, and follow up with a big bet on the river to fold out the rest. This idea isn't common in the micros but this board is ripe for it.
