Should I buy GTO+ or 1 month of Upswing?

Recently got a $75 visa gift card at work and wanted to spend it on poker.

I currently play 50NL and 25z as my main games and am a slight winner in both (~4bb/100). I've done some studying and am looking for something to help me reach 200NL eventually.

Is it worth getting into solver work if I have not used them before? Or would I be better off subscribing to one of the big training sites like RIO or Upswing for a month?

Any help/advice would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Personally I think you'd get more long-term value out of the solver. But if you're a novice then the course might be better immediate value for you.

This is the correct answer. You say your 4bb/100, but with how you've typed your question and initial post and the fact this is your first post I feel its more likely you're basing that 4b/100 over a small sample.

If you've played >100k-200k hands and have 4b/100 over that sample then it's likely best for you to get the GTO+ software. If you've played less than that, then you're likely better off getting the upswing course or two months of RIO.

Getting access to a gto solver is only as useful as your ability to use and interpret the results and spot patterns and then learn when to apply them. More specifically when to deviate from them.

If run it once have videos of coaches using solvers and reviewing spots that are applicable to your games then I'd be leaning in that direction. When you know how to study solutions down the line doing your own study might be best.

But having a coach go through concepts and applications will be a valuable foundation

If you have a reasonable base of knowledge and know what you are looking at with a silver then go with that
