Say I flop a set on a board with 3 spades, whats the typical play here in position during a tourney with an M of around 20?

Sorry to be the one to say this but it depends largely on a number of factors such as; your opponent's image at the table, his stack size, time in the tournament, i.e. is it on the bubble or early on.

Try posting specific hands in the correct strategy forums though and I'm sure you will get some good answers.

Generally speaking though you should never fold a set on the flop, even if your opponent shows up with the flush you always have outs for the full house.

Depending on pre-flop action and exact board texture and # of players in the pot and your position and action in front of you most likely one of the following three:

1.) Bet and if you get raised then shove all-in.

2.) Check/raise and call a shove.

3.) Raise and call a shove.
