Is this the right thing to do? Is this the right thing to do?

Hi,

Villain is 36/4/1,3 I didn't noticed anything special about him besides not raising anything but monsters.

When he betted 0.40c I thought he should be on a set, 2 pair or a flush draw K high or even on a double ended straight draw although this was less likely.
My idea was that we could go all in and would be a coin flip or he could fold his 0.40c bet and would be a good pot.

Please tell me what I should do different and advise on a better way to play this hand.

thanks

Don't push on the flop. villain could have had AQ or a set. Slow down a little with the FD's

It's fine, You have the nut FD + 1 over.

This is fine though his overbet is slightly worrying.

True. That being said, it doesn't look like AQ is in his range unless he just plays it super passively preflop. Looks like he has some weird 2pair or he could have open limped with 55-66. I think we have to weight the two pair quite a bit higher and I'm not even that surprised to see QJ or something show up here semi-often. I think shoving with Nut draw + an over is okay.

So, If I understand well the advice you guys gave, this is the right move most of the times and if I play like this I will end up extracting value from this move.
Is this idea right?

Thanks once more

I'd raise to 12c pre given 2 limpers (maybe even 15c depending on their propensity to call after limping).

Your shove has fold equity of 0 given your read on villain. His overbet means he has a made hand he wants to protect almost 99% imo. You can easily discount your A and J outs and this guy probably won't even do this with 78.

I hate it, but I fold here. And usually I'm the last poster to tell someone to fold a hand. (In fact if he bet out the pot I'd probably tell you to shove and ride the variance train, then cop a lot of flak about it afterwards)

So you're getting 2:1 on your coinflip... think that draws complete that often? Actually on flop, you're chance of catching a club card is about 1¾-to-1 (if you gonna see remaining 2 cards with ur all in).. that's better than what you're getting on ur money. But in this case you opponent has some outs too. I don't like numbers that much, but you had 9 outs to flush he has 4 outs to fullhouse. To me it's seems at best 50:50.
