Question: If several incomplete raises add up to the amount of a full legal raise, is betting reopened in NLHE?

Example:
Blinds 50/100
Player A posts 50.
Player B posts 100.
Player C raises 400 to 500.
Player D raises 100 to 600 and is all-in.
Player E raises 200 to 800 and is all-in.
Player F raises 300 to 1100 and is all-in.
Player A calls 1050.
Player B folds.

Does Player C have the option to re-raise? It's 650 for him to call (more than the original raise) but no player has actually put in a legal raise since he last acted, which would imply betting is still closed.

So what's the rule?

Anyone out there?

Pocketfives failed me here, I was really hoping I would turn up an answer at 2p2!

I would say yes it is reopened because Player D and E didnt raise, they went all in, Player F raised 600 to 1100 and is all in.

Player F would likely constitute a raise, but don't be surprised by differing house rules. Emailing Stars support would give you an answer relevant to their site, other sites/floors should be able to give you an answer, but may not reply as readily as Stars.

if the all-ins add up to a legal raise, betting is reopened, yes.

Robert's rules, no-limit rule 4:
Quote:
4. Multiple all-in wagers, each of an amount too small to qualify as a raise, still act as a raise and reopen the betting if the resulting wager size to a player qualifies as a raise.
