I've been on this forum for a while and I never understood what Rakeback is.

For every hand or tournament you play you pay Rake to the site. If you get refunded part of that rake every week or every month, you get rakeback

O ok, how would you go about getting rakeback? Does not make sense for them to give rake back. How did this come to be?

It depends on which site you play. Not all sites offer rakeback. FPP points and bonuses are also a form of rakeback.

Usually you should sign up for the poker room using a referral code from a site that offers rakeback deals like rakebackpros.com and many others. If you already created an account you can e-mail the poker site asking (or demanding lol) rakeback.

Sorry don't know about stars i only play at ftp. 10nl means that a full buyin is $10, so that's .05/.1 cash games. If you play cash games you should definately make sure you get the maximum amount of rakeback, because cash game players pay like 10 times the amount of rake tournament players do.

That means the buy in of 100bb, so 10NL is 10c big blind with usually a $10 buy in (unless table is deepstacked).
