Quick question. Quick question.

Hey, so since i'm turning 18 in 2 weeks i already made my PokerStars account and filled in my adress etc but i haven't deposited yet and therefore haven't filled out my date of birth yet. I just played a few play money games for fun.

Can someone tell me if this is a problem? I figured it wouldn't if i would just wait playing real money games untill i'm 18 but i'm not to sure now.

Thanks!

Did you give your real birthdate or said you were 18 when you registered?

Not yet.. so technically i didn't lie about my age but yea, everyone knows it's 18+. Just thought it wouldn't hurt as long as i don't play with real money but i'm doubting myself atm.

How could you create an account without giving your date of birth? That shouldn't be possible since it is +18 only? They don't require that information when creating an account?

Id recommend contacting them and admitting you opened an underage account. You will have a problem down the line when they attempt to age verify your account. If you resolve it now you wont encounter an issue withdrawing when you do have a real money balance.
As far as I know they will close the underage account and request that you open a new account to continue using the site. Not 100% on that though.

Not really my area, but you could be in some 'trouble' even if you only played in the 'play money' area. It will be up to the sites rules to determine this. There are plenty of poker Aps out there that don't ask your age and they are all play chips too.

I would log on their site and try to read some of the rules and regs and probably wait until you are actually ready to deposit some real funds (in 2 or more weeks) to see how the site reacts to your account's 'additional' information. They may have a FAQ section that could address this as well.

Do some research before contacting them directly. You may have found a flaw in their software if this really is an issue. I'm guessing you are fine, but it will be site dependent. GL

This will never be the outcome. If they close the account, it means you're done playing on Stars.
