It drives me crazy when i chat with some 2nl/5nl regular and he tells me that he is playing 16 tables , and he is gold or platinum (one 5nl regular got supernova playing this stake , jesus christ).
I tried 3 consecutive months to reach silver with my 5 tables and failed. So i want to train to be able to play more and more tables. I don't know why others find it easy to play 10+ tables , it seems so hard to me. Are there any settings in the Pokerstars software that make this easier and i didn't see?

Can you guys give me some tips that could help me?

what stakes are you playing?
I managed to get silverstar quite easily 4tabling NL10--> NL25

Just play longer, getting a star of whatever colour should be no reason to want to start to multitable. Most people tend to play 4-6 (sometimes 8) tables.

The hotkeys for betsizes make it quicker, but some people (including me) just aren't very good at multi-tasking in any field, whether it's poker-related or not. Practising will certainly help, but if you don't have great manual dexterity and can't make instant decisions after looking at stats very quickly, then you'll always have trouble when you get more than 4 or 5 tables going.

mhh making supernova at 5nl, sick beat
If it comforts you these are the same guys that probably still play at 5nl today. Its so hard to improve this way and basically you are ******ing your growth as a player by playing that many tables.
Start grinding that many tables when you found a limit where you can make a living

Well I would bet the 24 tablers are on auto-pilot for preflop play, pretty much.

And mostly postflop, especially on the flop.

Just keep adding 1 table at a time and over a few weeks you will keeping gaining more tables Thing is though, learning the game is way more important than getting small rewards currently. Getting SN at 5nl is great and all, but you can make way more money by beating 25nl and then getting SN. Think about what you really want. Go for getting better, not playing lots of tables. (This si coming from a former 16 tabler)

At lower levels, yes, at higher levels, I think you might be surprised.

Here are some advice:

- The purpose of playing multiple tables is to increase your volume and hourly, not to brag about how many tables you play for the sake of it (although a lot of people do so).
- Start slowly. If you play 3 tables, add one, play a few 10k hands, see how it goes then try adding another table, etc. Just don't go from 1 table to 10.
- Practice, practice, and then practice some more, and you'll make it.

Forget about your status level or whatever. Your playing NL5, stick to 3 tables max until you understand what you are really doing and why and are playing NL50 properly rolled.

I guarantee you will be a better player than your friend in 12 months.

Multitabling 8+ used to be a bit too much pressure for me, until i realised you can set auto timebank.
