Are there any simple apps to have open whilst you play to help with making quick pot odds decision?
Also been a while so can someone do firm for me how I work out if I'm getting the correct pot odds to call.

I've I'm on the flop have a straight or flush draw. Is it I add the number of remaing outs and x4 and once the turn hits and I've missed then x2 the remainning outs?

The rule of 4 (going to Turn) and 2 (going to River) still apply yes, then you have to convert the bet 'to call' and pot to compare that to your outs. This is only the 'direct' odds and you may not find a lot of spots where this will correctly apply going to the River.

Lots of players like to bet a 'standard' 50-70% of the pot on each street and if you are HU then your calling odds don't look very good when looking at a Turn bet.

As far a apps, there are plenty of 'poker odds' apps out there, but your ability to enter the hand/cards in question in a timely manner would be unlikely. You certainly can't use these apps during live play. It is probably better to write/look at some hands after a session and so you can see what decisions you are making and then they will ultimately become 'natural' to you while you play.

I see lots of players 'only' looking at pot odds when they have a draw. What do you do when you have KT on a K98 monotone (all hearts) board and your opponent bets out giving you 2.5 to 1? Are you going to let your opponent set his own price or raise him up?

Pot odds need to apply not only when you think you are behind, but also when you feel like you are ahead and either facing a bet or deciding what to bet. GL

Op relearn your maths times tables. In your spare time master division. Look at random numbers on street signs or wherever and practise dividing them into each other. Get it down fast. Concentrate mainly on simple division but also the other 3 +*-.

A good book to invest to improve your mental computation is How to Calculate Quickly. Plenty of exercises to help you become more sharper with your calculation. do 15 minutes in the am and 15 in the pm for a month and you should be on your way.

Keep in mind there's implied odds. You might not be getting the right pot odds to call, but for hands such as a disguised straight draw, you might contemplate calling, assuming you put the opponent on a big pair (or that hes a really bad player)
