I really want to use a poker tracker program. Are there any poker tracking programs that are free (no trial versions) and supported by pokerstars. Ive heard about pokerhand beta but i can't seem to find the updated version.

Anyways, if someone could help me i would appreciate it.

I'd go to pokertracker.com or HoldemManager.com Read through both sites and decide which one you prefer. HEM is a very popular program.

I checked them out, but they're not free. Are there any free trackers out there?

i might try out poker tracker 3. I'm allowed to use it on pokerstars right? On the pokerstars website it says poker tracker (nothing about poker tracker 3) is permitted.

I don't want to get banned

You should be banned from everywhere for supporting that team!

PokerStars allowed and not allowed software list

Sharpstats might help you. I personally have never used it but came across it in the toolbox thread.

GL at the tables.

BL at the pitches.

If you don't want to pay, do what I did and Get it Free, that link is on the official site but I used Regalos poker points to buy mine.

I dunno its pretty rare rly as I only heard about it in that thread.

If theres any sort of hand history uploading going up then it cld fall under prohibited. Can someone confirm - i cant.

Ultimately just but the cheap micros versions of PT or HEM you tight gooner. Not buying it cld delay you're progression.

Any type of tracker is fine, any type of HUD is fine. Basically they only disallow automation programs, which trackers do not do.

Sharing HH (Hand histories) is fine and everyone does it every day.
They prohibit sharing live hole card information before the hand histories are saved (to prevent collusion obv).

# The following types of tools and services are prohibited:

1. Any program that shares hole card data with other players or programs is colluding, and is prohibited.
2. Any program that works off of a central database of player profiles or hands played is prohibited.
3. Any program that plays without human intervention (a 'bot') or reduces the requirement of a human playing. For instance, an 'auto-folder' is prohibited.
4. The practice of datamining (observing games without playing in order to build up a database of hand histories for future reference) is prohibited.
5. Any software that offers direct game play advice on the appropriate action to take.
Not trying to be a nit. Unsure how SharpStats works. Have 0 time to maneuver that website.

You're trying hard enough.
As far as I can tell (in 0 minutes), Sharpstats exactly the same as PokerTracker and HEM, only the ghetto version.

Anticipating your next reply:

PostgreSQL is a service you must have installed on your PC to run any of the listed database programs. It is a "local database server" that saves a database to your PC so it can be utilized quickly in multiple programs. It does not upload or download any data.

I heard about some reviews of PT3 and the reporting facility seems to be great Also it is more user friendly this time but you need to create your own reports. PT3 is customizable and appears to be more so than HEM. Here's a beta version of it http://www.pokertracker.com/forums/v...p?f=16&t=19996

Stick with Pokertracker or Holdem Manager. If you also play Omaha go with the second. They both have a huge user base, so unlikely to ever appear on any sites banned list for fear of alienating swarms of players.
