I know everyone is going to shout of FTP FTP FTP but I hate that site with a passion. Always been a stars person but I am honestly having a lot of trouble making $$ on that site and the no rakeback is killing my breakeven game because the micros are such a bitch.

I seem to make 5-10 buyins then bad beat after bad beat after bad beat and voila break even. Start again next day, rinse and repeat.

I'm feeling you, but I doubt you'll find the micros at any other site to be any better. Thats just how it is, keep working on your game, keep reading, turn that break even game into a winning one and you'll see the money come in. Stars has lower rake than most sites too.

Now to answer your question:

- UltimateBet (if you can get over the scandal thing)
- Absolute Poker (Same network as UB, so if the scandal bothers you then be warned)

As far as I know thats it, theres also RedKings but they do a VIP system like stars.

I have played on Absolute once and boy was it dreadful. Not a big fan of UB either but if you say the games are softer than I am sure it is worth a try. Anyone try Bwin? I used to play on pokerchamps back in the day when gus hansen sponsored it and i loved the "idiots from northern europe" and apparently its the same site? Also liked the site layout you could only 4 table max and 6 table only if yoru monitor can support it but I dont tend to play more than 4 tables. Usually 3 6-max PLO10 tables and 1 2.20 180 man turbo.

I did not say anything about UB competition being softer.

If I may ask, what is it that you hate about FTP?

I was just realy annoyed at the support and the fact that I sent my friend $500 to hold on for me sort of like a banker in the sense that I had depo'd about 200$ ran it up to 1k shipped friend $500 and FTP would not let him ship it back to me. I sent e-mail to support abotu 2 weeks later they respond with there BS responses. Then when I went to cash out they asked me for like 10 pieces of Identification I was like wtf? Its $500 relax. Then they finally processed the cashout about 3 months later I still get nothing from them I e-mail them back and they say that they are putting hte $$ back into my account. So they put it back in my account I go on the biggest run of coolers of my life. I HATE YOU FTP.

So you hate ftp because you used your friend as a banker knowing that he has to use the money before he can transfer it back, the fact that they asked for identification to verify who you are because I guess hackers isn't a problem, etc etc. Any good poker site is going to have very similar rules, hate to break it to you.

Try cake

Fair enough, I've got to agree with you about their support. I also find the fact that their deposits aren't instant a little weird.

Honestly I think you'd do good to stay at stars, they're good to their players.

stars has been good to me I have been a member of stars since 06. I used to like Party Poker but there software has not aged well if you know what I mean. I am Canadian btw so I am not affected by US Govts issues with Online Poker.
