Hi guys. Been playing online poker for a few months and doing fine. However I noticed that there are some players who would sit in their table and just wait for an opponent to play them. They could just join other table heads up and play them and they choose to wait. I know this is silly but can some pros please help me to this?

they are waiting for their food. good players dont want to butt heads with each other. instead, they wait for a random weak player to sit.

Thanks guys. But just puzzle me that those in the high stakes 200/400 and above did the same thing. Don't they realize that everyone who plays in those stakes are full time professionals?

Not everyone that plays the nosebleeds are full time professionals... and not everyone is equal in hu at those stakes.
