What have you noticed about the player pool at Bovada 25NL and below? Maybe I don't know how fish play but it doesn't seem to me that they're generally not as loose passive as most fish are (they are PF but not post).

Here's what I've noticed and the first two probably happens on 90% of hands on almost any board:

1) They will auto bet when checked to and barrel the rest of the hand. Many will float or double float just waiting for you to check to them so they can pot it.
2) If they were the PFR they will 3 barrel their entire range
3) they flat the majority of 3 bets
4) When they donk its the nuts or TP
5) If they turn a monster they'll check it
6) a donk shove is usually a FD/SD
7) a l/r is always AA

Does anyone agree with me? What else have you noticed?

Having played ~200k hands of 10NL and 25NL there here is what I think:

Quote:

2) If they were the PFR they will 3 barrel their entire range Not true
3) they flat the majority of 3 bets Yeah
4) When they donk its the nuts or TP On the river its the nuts, other streets it can be anything
5) Many times they will check the turn with monsters Sometimes...
6) a donk shove is usually a FD/SD Depends, not usually, sometimes though
7) a l/r is always AA Yeah (or QQ+ at least

What is an l/r? Late position raise?

I gave a similar response on another thread about Bovada: What you can do is buy Bovada Hand Converter from Ace Poker Solutions and keep a database of your hands. Then when you create a player report you'll get 6 to 9 players depending on if you play 6-max or full ring, and that gives you AVERAGE stats by position of ALL Bovada players. Once you have a 15,000-hand sample you can just assume the player in that seat has those stats. Sometimes he'll actually be tighter than that, sometimes looser, but in the long run you'll be playing fairly well readless.

The other nice thing about Bovada is you can see everyone's hole cards, so if you think a villain is bluffing on a given hand, you can make note of the hand number and 2 days later find out what he had.

sounds pretty crappy to me actually... that's giving fish too much credit, or giving decent players too much doubt..

100% agree with this. I will add that turn and river bets are heavily weighted towards value. Also, a c/r on the turn usually means the nuts.
