Are people using GTO dominating live tournaments?

Are people winning by trying to emulate how solvers plays? Can others, such as top players from 10 years ago, cannot compete? In this true in SHRs, in other high buyin tournaments?
What about in live cash games? The play in live cash, even at mid-high stakes, has been really loose and not anything like GTO.
I realize live play is somewhat shut down now in the US and maybe other places.

It will largely depend on the people involved in the hand. In top tournament pro v top tournament pro hands, hands are played in a very GTO manner. Throw in a recreational in the hand and things change a lot.
Somewhat the same in the cash games - although those games often have a different dynamic due to invites/politics/pleasing the fish in a manner which isn't as much of a thing in tournaments - which forces a lot of non GTO play by the elite
