Hello, I hope this is the right forum to talk about my experience so far playing online. I have been playing live poker for 16 years. The first 6 years I was so bad and lost a lot of cash at the poker rooms until one day I hit the bad beat for 260,000$. The guy had flopped quad queens and I hit quad sevens on the river. Changed my life.

This was a sign from God, get good at poker. So I stopped playing like a donkey and started to play tight as a drum. The losses slowed down and I started to either leave the casino even or up a little or a lot more often.

Life happens though, wife, kids, work, whatever. Last year or so I just don't have time to drive 30mins to the casino, get on the wait list for two hours in the afternoon and I'm sleeping at 3am when there's a seat available.

So....Online I went!!!

I downloaded party poker mobile and made a deposit of $150. Played well enough to get up to $285 bankroll. I made a withdrawl of $100. The withdrawal curse happened but I blame myself for the poor play. Going all in on the flop with JJ and other guy had flopped a set of threes. Not playing my hand correctly, etc.

Do I think online poker is rigged for action, I don't think so. Online poker is definitely a different animal to live poker. I played micro games .05/.10, .10/.25, etc and I realize there will be more donkeys at these games compared to the usual 1/2 game I play at the casino.

So back to it, I get nervous because I blow 70$ in one afternoon at the cash games on party poker. I withdraw the remaining 112$ and my account is at 0.

I buy a 100$ visa at 7/11 and head over to PokerStars. Over the next 7 days or so I get my ass handed to me in the micro games. The bad beats are just horrendous. I run from PokerStars screaming!!!!

I check my bank account today. Still no deposit from party poker 8 business days later. I actually want to go back to party poker but won't deposit another dime till I actually see a payout in my account. In this day and age it is laughable I haven't got paid yet.

So today I sit here and wait.......

Not sure, I guess that depends on what you're looking for. Depending on your answer, a new thread may not have been necessary - two of them in different forums definitely weren't.

10nl online is a much tougher game than 1/2 live.
