Get dumbells and workout. Pain in your muscles got nothing to do with design of a mouse.
Also, rest your forearm or at least wrist on desk and operate your mouse with palm only. Not only it will be smoother, but you'll get higher accuracy when playin FPS games for example. And is much more relaxing.

As for the best gear, logitech is close but not pro enuf. Go Razer or other pro-gaming stuff. It's all you can dream of.

the mouse i posted earlier as mine came as part of a combo, it has 2 button like the laser, and then what they call a "stealth thumb button" where ur thumb is, and then the wheel has an option where u click the button above it will spin freely for fast scrolling, or if u press it in click like a normal wheel.

All in all I am pretty happy with it, the keyboard it came with is nice ergonomically speaking, but I wish it had programmable buttons. It only has programmable F buttons so you need to hold FN key down to use them and that makes it less practical

i have the same mouse and it completely saved my hands. I was getting these chronic striking pains in my hands from this cheesy microsoft mouse i bought on boxing day, but after i bought this one in about 3 days all the pains were gone. i got the G7 though, its wireless.

Looks like ppl are ******ed, heres a good review I found on newegg

Quote:
Pros: Great signal in the wireless, nifty light effects on the battery, power switch is a plus, fantastic design for the hand, great scroll wheel with switching modes and heavy so it rolls awhile in free scroll mode.
Cons: Can't always have center mouse button, BUT it is possible, see below.
Other Thoughts: Let's put to rest some of these cons that people can't figure out. First off, the setpoint software has never given me any problems. Probably doesn't like computers with all the stupid download managers, toolbars and other spyware and adware programs. Setpoint is great and nearly flawless. Second, This mouse does not skip nor is the resolution low, it is the surface that would cause it to do that, get a nice mouse pad and you won't have any problems. This is a problem with all optical and laser mice. On that same note, it does not jump with the right surface underneath so gaming should not be a problem. As for the battery, people just don't know how to use rechargeables. If you let it get low before sticking it on the charger then it actually does pretty well. Mine will last me over a week before

Do they make his mouse anymore cuz I can't seem to find it

Razor mice are great, got one from my friend for cheap.

And the bicep issue...... yeah from poker? I doubt it, what do you do during the breaks of your sessions... at your computer.. to break a sweat...i guess you could call it grinding..
figure that out, and take a break..

well I recommend Razer mice... I've been using them for more than 6 years now, got experience with most of their types. They got their pros and cons as any mouse. Their fast, reliable, very precise (very good for pc gaming, (dpi/speed/accuracy)), and very light (talkin' weight - some mice are really heavy, with wireless ones the heaviest - when using battery) you can operate them with fingers not whole palm/wrist. Got several programable buttons and build in memory, so you can bring them to other pcs and no need to re-setup.

Other than that it's their sexy design. Well sexy to me. Razer anytime. I might be biassed, and biassed it is, but happy as well.

Most razer mice have slots where the tips of your fingers go. Which makes it extremely uncomfortable (for me atleast). And they're also really small. IDK how you can say logitech doesn't compare when the mx518 is by far the most popular "gaming" mouse that's ever been released lol.

most popular, as in majority of people like it... well, imo, majority of people are noobs. lol.

But 'bout size, well they got some smaller like diamondback or bigger one deathadder...as for design, I guess every1 prefers something different.
Several years ago, I had a mouse I considered the best design ever.
Logitech 'Wingman'..it fit your hand so well.. it was just awesome.

Stop touching your personal touchpad so much(thats why your bicep hurts), get a laptop and use its touchpad.

I recently broke my razor mouse loltilt, and had to buy a new one... I had used the Razor Diamondback for about 1.5 years and had no complaints about it. However i originally bought the mouse because i was playing a lot of warcraft 3, and a higher dpi mouse I felt at the time was worth the investment. I loved the mouse and bought an identical one the second mine broke online, they go for around 50 USD, and you can buy it off their website. There also sold in various retail stores such as Best Buy and Radio Shack, however id cal the store to make sure they carry the product before driving there.

If you go to their website they have a wide selection of mouses so it would be best to just look through the selection and determine what is best for you.

At first however the mouse is most likely going to feel goofy for you, but after a week of use it will really fit well, so give it a chance at first. Also make sure you keep your receipt because with out one you cannot warranty your product.
