My biggest losses mostly come from overplaying overpairs on low boards against non-nits.

For example, I get Queens, some limping pre-flop, I make a standard 3xBB+1/limper raise, usually get one caller, maybe 2. Let's say I'm out of position against at least one guy. Board comes something like 348 2-tone. I tend to bet 75%+ of the pot because I don't particularly want to see a 3rd straight or flush card on the turn or a K or A. Many times they'll just fold, but sometimes I get called (let's say it's the guy who's in position this time) and this is when I lose all my money. Turn comes a "blank" like an offsuit ten or something. I bet big again and he 3bets.

At the micros, should I just fold there every time? I've been in this situation maybe 5 or 6 times, and I've called and lost buy-ins every single time. He shows up with a set or some **** like T8s. My small sample size and lack of experience indicates I probably shouldn't be making any judgments about this situation just because of a few bad ones in a row, but that's why I'm asking here.

I would fold.

If they 3bet u on the turn then they most likely have u beaten. Very few people, even at the micros, will 3Bet you in that situation with high cards or some low pocket pair. They most likely hit 2 pair or better.

Search the forums for the 'Baluga theorum', should find some good stuff on this kind of spot. Or check out the stickies in uNL, it's in there somewhere.

Basically, it says that if you're facing a raise on the turn, you should re-evaluate one pair hands. I.e. you should be folding them a lot.

Just fyi, if you bet the turn, and someone raises, it's a raise, not a 3bet.
