Overlapping Preflop Starting Hands

I've noticed in a few hand recommendation charts that certain hand ranges overlap each other. For example: T8s-53s, 87s-43s
Why wouldn't it be listed as such: T8s - 43s ?
Is there a reason to think in groups like they listed instead of one large range?

43s-87s means 43s, 54s, 65s, 76s, 87s
53s-T8s means 53s, 64s, 75s etc.

Yes they are all suited connectors, but 53s-T8s is suited one-gappers, while 87s-43s don't have cards between them
