I'm 20 years old working 5 days a week in the security industry. I absolutely love my job, but the hours it leaves me with are bad for both my poker goals as well as my family and girlfriend.

I currently work 10pm-6am sunday through thursday.

I have the oppurtunity to work
Friday - 10pm-6am
Saturday - 2pm-6am (16 hours)
Sunday - 2pm-6am (16 hours)

I work 2 minutes away from home so I'll be able to sleep a full 7 hours before returning for my next shift.

This oppurtunity allows me to be off work from monday 6am till friday 10pm. However from friday 10pm till monday 6pm; i work 40 of those 56 hours.


Do you guys think this is pretty nuts? I love my job and definitely have the stamina to give it a shot

Looks to me like a really good set up. I'm not entirely sure what you're asking but having Monday til Friday off to get fully absorbed in poker sounds like a great thing. Earn money, build a bank roll, keep improving and enjoy yourself. Being 20 is great but having a steady income while being 20 is even better. Make sure you give yourself ample time off.
