Opening another account after having old one closed a long time ago (Full Tilt)

Okay so when I was a youngster (16) I had a full tilt account which I played play money with. However at some point I decided I stopped wanting emails from all these various thing on the internet and started to cancel accounts I had for them. FTP was one of these.
Is it possible now for me to make another one? or would I have to reopen that one?

I would reopen the current account you have. FTP and other sites do not approve of having two accounts.

I don't think that opening another account should be a problem because you haven't played any real money games on the old account.
