Are there any good reads (articles, threads on here) about flatting ranges out of position? I'm looking for blind flatting in different situations and also obviously what not to flat, what to raise (with good reasoning ofc). I just played a session where I was in the SB and had QTo and folded to a raise and just said to myself "Aha, I have to make my strategy better on this certain point". Also I don't mind a constructive post!

So without further ado, go at it.

above 50bb i would flat call 22+ AQo+ against ep raise , i will add AJ/KQo/ATs/kJs against mid to lp raise and i may add depending on read KT/A9/A7s/K9s/QJ against Co/Button Raise , if i suspect a steal i may call wider around 33% range with hands such Axs,Kxs,suited connectors/gappers/Q8s/broadways but this is a resteal move , of course players on the pot and their stats may change my strategy , this is a readless strategy , you should never forget about reads.

Below 50bb i cut low pair 22-55 unless i resteal , you dont have the implied odds to play them.

Below 25bb 3-bet all in is prefferable to flat call and the ranges are different.

I would never raise any less than AK/JJ.

No offence intended, but OP, ignore this past the MP raise part.

That strategy is...what??? You're burning money except if you're not some kind of genius post flop. I consider myself pretty good and creative post flop as well as having a good concept for ranges but oop we have so much less info. What do we do when we miss flop and have not a single backdoor?

Thats why i said *depending on read i may add* , they are essentially semibluff hands , if villain is loose you can donk the flop and take it there ,if he calls depending on board and stacks you may double barrel and that would be more than enough. Check-raise is another alternative option and you can check-call / donk turn too another powerfull option.

Ofc this should be used against a loose player or frequent stealer not just everyone. You dont have to hit always to continue with the hand , sometimes you just have to take your chips and throw them in the pot and scare the opponent.

You're forgetting a quite important part of flatting villain's raise, you keep his entire range in and as he has lots of garbage you don't know when he has a huge hand. But I won't argue with you about this I'm saying that I can't do what you're saying and if you can then hats off to you, sir. If anyone has a good article I can read I would love that
