Do you change your thinking a lot from online to casino based tournaments?

A few things that come to mind would include:

1) Freerolls - People get up and leave or give up at some point online.

2) Paid - The starting dollar amounts can be pretty small online.
Live its usually over $100.00 or more not including gas and driving time.

3) Online you can just get into another game.
Live you pretty much have one shot that day.

The only difference really is live you will see alot worse play than online because people come there to play cards, not to fold all day and pick their spots.

This, also some people like to bluff just to show it to the people around them, which they wouldn't do online.

Players are a lot worse live. You also have waitresses that will bring you cocktails and masseuses ready to rub you down when needed. Most wives or gf's won't do this for you while playing online.

There is typically a lot more limping when playing live verses online. This results in there being more multi way pots with 4-5 people.

I notice this too!

It makes a very left hand right experience when you are playing.
