so some friends and I were debating tonight... and I was wondering... Who will make more money over the course of a year a 1/2 online player or a 1/2 live player assuming both are rolled for the game??

obviously a terri-bad player will make more money at the live game.

while if you have a player that can consistently beat the 1/2 online..then the online version makes more money.

Online by far if that player can multi table.

If both are 1 tabling, the live players WR has gotta be 3x as big as the online guys WR cuz online guy is playing 3x as many hands...

Just depends on how the cards fall. If the live player is playing against other pros or if hes playing tourists. If the online player knows how to multi-table profitably. If either is mentally strong. If the internet connection goes out. If his car goes out. If girlfriends are getting pissed. If friends arent seeing them anymore. Just really no way to judge it. Just depends on the player.

It depends is the best answer. A player good enough to beat 1/2 online will likely want to (and be good enough to) play higher than 1/2 live. If both the live and online were good and could only single table then the hourly rate would be about the same I would imagine - online gets more hands in but live a good player would have a bigger edge.
