Good luck all.
Here's to hoping i can get my **** together in february, after I read Crushing the Microstakes and Moving up uNL in 2010, and started 'thinking' I've been burning money (just playing terribad).

In, gl all

Let us all run good so we don't have to keep posting bad beats

Okay, got a few hands to post, mostly in which I stationed a villain (and I think I ran into the top of his range). Just want to check that this is accurate analysis:

1) Villain is reg with major FPS:

PokerStars - $0.10 NL (6 max) ZOOM - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

BTN: $16.90
Hero (SB): $10.15
BB: $13.16
UTG: $12.94
MP: $8.94
CO: $10.88

Hero posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero has J J

fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.30, BB raises to $0.70, Hero raises to $1.70, BB calls $1.00

Flop: ($3.40, 2 players) 7 2 3
Hero bets $1.78, BB calls $1.78

Turn: ($6.96, 2 players) T
Hero checks, BB bets $4.00, Hero raises to $6.67 and is all-in, BB calls $2.67

River: ($20.30, 2 players) 6

Spoiler:
Hero shows J J (One Pair, Jacks) (Pre 19%, Flop 8%, Turn 5%)
BB shows A A (One Pair, Aces) (Pre 81%, Flop 92%, Turn 95%)
BB wins $19.39

2) Villains are both weak regs:

PokerStars - $0.10 NL (6 max) ZOOM - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

Hero (BTN): $12.57
SB: $13.94
BB: $12.37
UTG: $15.79
MP: $14.14
CO: $58.01

SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero has A K

UTG raises to $0.30, MP calls $0.30, fold, Hero raises to $1.25, fold, fold, UTG calls $0.95, MP calls $0.95

Flop: ($3.90, 3 players) 2 6 3
UTG checks, MP checks, Hero bets $2.04, fold, MP calls $2.04

Turn: ($7.98, 2 players) J
MP checks, Hero bets $3.70, MP raises to $10.85 and is all-in, fold

Spoiler:
MP wins $14.69

3) Villain is unknown - the flop raise is heavily polarising and he should be 3betting AA, JJ here right?

PokerStars - $0.10 NL (6 max) ZOOM - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

BTN: $17.90
SB: $21.59
BB: $7.47
UTG: $10.07
Hero (MP): $10.31
CO: $10.00

SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero has T A

fold, Hero raises to $0.30, CO calls $0.30, fold, fold, fold

Flop: ($0.75, 2 players) A J 4
Hero bets $0.47, CO raises to $1.10, Hero calls $0.63

Turn: ($2.95, 2 players) 5
Hero checks, CO bets $2.25, Hero calls $2.25

River: ($7.45, 2 players) 9
Hero checks, CO bets $2.00, Hero calls $2.00

Spoiler:
CO shows 4 4 (Three of a Kind, Fours) (Pre 53%, Flop 97%, Turn 100%)
Hero mucks T A (One Pair, Aces) (Pre 47%, Flop 3%, Turn 0%)
CO wins $10.93

This month is gonna be the one where the expected EV and green line meet, I know it

Can't complain, not as bad as chad's but -5BI @ Zoom over 6.5k last month.
02-01-2013 , 01:40 PM
1 & 2 seem fine. I think hand 3 is a turn fold coz of his betsizing and u can't discount any hand vs an unknown.

Don't post results tho as it'll skew responses
02-01-2013 , 03:45 PM
Thinking of betting everything I have on Bovada ($200) on the 49rs if moneyline improves before gametime
02-01-2013 , 04:09 PM
Had a nice little session to kick off the month today. Hoping to get some decent volume this month with no exams to worry about. Couple of hands from today I'm unsure of my line on.

1st hand:

Villain in MP had aggressive-fishy stats (77/45 with 15 3bet). Retrospectively not sure whether re-raising flop was the correct play but I guessed he would call down with worse Ax hands so that's why I did it.

Poker Stars, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

    SB: $2.01 (100.5 bb)
    BB: $2.58 (129 bb)
    Hero (UTG): $2.96 (148 bb)
    MP: $0.98 (49 bb)
    CO: $1.86 (93 bb)
    BTN: $3.38 (169 bb)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A Q
Hero raises to $0.06, MP raises to $0.20, 3 folds, BB calls $0.18, Hero calls $0.14

    Flop: ($0.61) A 4 2 (3 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, MP bets $0.18, BB calls $0.18, Hero raises to $0.50, MP raises to $0.78 and is all-in, BB folds, Hero calls $0.28

    Turn: ($2.35) T (2 players, 1 is all-in)
    River: ($2.35) Q (2 players, 1 is all-in)

2nd hand: UTG was loose passive fish, the blinds both seemed solid particularly SB (21/21 with 60% cbet). My line seems too passive now, yet I couldn't see what I could get value from with a raise. How is the call on the river?

      @TDA

Hand 1 looks fine, although might bet a bit more on the flop, SPR looks right to get it in.

Hand 2 should be fine, if their f2cb is low, fold equity isn't much just check flop, villains at micros low to call monotonous boards

Hand 3 looks wp though, wouldn't post results like Dunna said
      02-01-2013 , 05:27 PM
Not sure what to make of this.

Villain is 52/34/11 over 82 hands. He C bets 70% Flop and 100% Turn. I call to keep all his draws and one pari hands in planning to accept his turn C-bet and raise if the hand bricks. Is this decent thinking or is this overplay based on stats.

Standard fold or am I thinking too nitty here. Guy is a shortstack drooler so I basically put him on 10x as he so far has not bet with air. I don't think he thinks any of them are bluffs though. 3rd pair on the river= value town!

I may be dealing with the opposite of FPS syndrome though and if huge fish donks turn when I have overs and nut FD I should snap it off. What you think?

you have ~15 outs, 30% = enough to call and break even
      02-01-2013 , 06:27 PM
Yeah I just stoved that its 28% equity. Pot odds 31%. So would be -EV to call if I'm behind. Don't have to put much air in his range to be winning though. Also don't have to improve his range much to be dead (I.e. add in some 2 pair hands goes to 20%).

Think I'm kind of happy with it but felt like a bad fold.

(edit) nevermind, I am a fish.

Hopefully 60s hyper 100 turbo husngs this month. And not fail volume. Profit goal...2.5k? Seems reasonable given I'll probably get under 1.5k games this month.

      02-01-2013 , 07:37 PM
I cant do my jan graph, because HEM 1 is still importing HH's but I CRUSHED it.
      02-01-2013 , 07:43 PM
Lol, really?! Are we gonna have to take u at your word?

Don't try and pretend you're improving. If u are then we're all fooked!
      02-01-2013 , 07:47 PM
If HEM ever finishes this import, I will make graphs.

Breakeven, loser after rake, 30BI under EV. Meh nothing to show here.
      02-01-2013 , 10:24 PM
You don't even want to know. HORRENDOUS month. Still got a 40BI BR.
      02-02-2013 , 03:32 AM
I've changed laptops part way through the month so would only have about 7k hands on my Jan giraffe. Can put it up but nothing special.
      02-02-2013 , 04:44 AM
      Pretty terrible.

BR sits at $ 100 so nothing too much to worry about, but really need to start with basics (didn't play for 1,5 years before this month).

FPS, thinking too much for 5NL.
Brag: running good @ life - new GF, started working out again, moving up at work. Can't complain.
      02-02-2013 , 07:59 AM
Sup... I busted both my FTP/PS rollz last year on the ponies

Time to rebuild a roll, BR is $30
      02-02-2013 , 09:46 AM
I figured I might as well share this experiment with all of you guys so here goes the graph so far:

I've ran really bad in my setups and I have to get used to the fact that people are rarely bluffing. So folding a very exploitable amount in some spots will be better than what I have been doing. It will improve for february.

I am a long time NL100/200 grinder, but my results last year was pretty much breakeven after having made great results for years. So I was feeling pretty burnt out about the whole poker thing so I decided to build a new bankroll completely from scratch just for fun. Hopefully I can help a few struggeling micro players on my way, I already have personal blog away from 2+2 but I'm thinking about creating a thread covering my journey in the poker goals thread. What do you guys think?
