Hi!

I recently started living on a University campus, and the schools firewalls will not allow me to use PT4.

Obviously, I'm not willing to play without an HUD against people who are recording all of my stats. To even the playing field, I was hoping to find a US friendly site which was not supported by HUDs.

The reason I'm making a thread for this is because I'm hoping people will vouch for a few sites. I don't want to deposit, try the site, discover it is terrible, and then have them refuse to give my deposit back.

Do any of you play on / know of a reputable US site which is not supported by HUDs?

Bovada.

Edit: There's software which allows the collection of data over a single table session but it's lost at the end of the session due to the anonymity.

Is it... for lack of a better word, reputable?

And where would I find this software?

Why would any tracker have any issue with firewalls?

guessing authentication issues, pretty sure PT4 and HM2 phone home every time you launch to verify license. He might also be using the cloud HH storage, assuming that's what I think it is.

Bovada is the only one I know of. And now that Merge changed their program tiers AGAIN without warning anyone, Bovada is all I will play. I guess my PT4 will sit for a while.

Bovada pays out faster too.

OP - Have you tried contacting PT4 support? There may be an alternate way to do authentication, ie; through a port your firewall will allow.

This. Had the same problem at a gym I belonged to. Funnily enough it also blocked 2+2. Easily solved though...I moved gym

Got me thinking tho...when Cameron gets his way and turns the UK into China/Saudi by screwing internet access you can bet your backside mission creep will threaten stuff like gambling sites, so we could all be in the same boat as op soon enough.

sorry for the thread creep.

This, aside from the cloud HH. I think. Basically, it works fine everywhere but on campus. Once I'm on campus, it won't even answer unless you launch it twice, then close the "instance already active" windows.

I haven't contacted support, in part because I think playing without an HUD might be fun for a change.
