That kingace guy won, he had 4,2 unsuited. Was i wrong for calling? I figured I had top pair, and Kingace was playing pretty questionable hands the whole time, and I raised all in. He ended up winning with trip 4's

Let me know what you think

fold pre

you have to call the reraise all in on the flop because you are priced into it but that is why you don't get involved with hads like K7 so early in tourneys

Fold pre, or at the very least don't minreraise.

I will listen to you guys because I am relatively new to poker; however, just have a question.

I saw the hands this guy was playing and they have been very skeptical in the past. He was a loose cannon and playin ridiculous hands.

Should I still pre-fold?

Some basic principles for you--in freerolls, players will play all kinds of trash, as you saw here. That means you need to tighten up. K7 is nowhere near good enough to be reraising out of position.

why did you min raise him pre flop? I'm curious what your though process is when you did this. You fight 'loose cannons' by playing TAG poker in position.

I would have folded pre, you have to remember your playing a free roll and that basically any starting hand is in most players ranges. You were priced into the call and got out drawn, that's poker
