Hello guys.

I am learning the fixed limit poker now. Should I single-table or
multiple-table on microstakes? I think that playing on multiple tables can
give me more experience than playing on single table, but I can concentrate better on single table.

Thanks,
Valentin

You are learning. You are saying that you can concentrate more on 1 single table.
1 table it is.

+1 I think when you have learned the fundamentals of the game, you definitely start adding 1 table after a week or however long it takes you to get comfortable with the amount of tables you are playing with. It will definitely give more experience and increase you profits if you manage a decent win rate

I'm currently multi tabling with six tables. I tried moving up to seven and its amazing how much worse I did by adding that table lol. So just take your time with it.

Good Luck!

Thank you for the advice guys,

I think to play multiple playmoney tables for now, and when I feel more secure I can return to micros.

Any advice on whether a beginner should start with limit vs. NL?

Playing 2 tables is no big deal really, even as a beginner. I'd limit myself to that though while still learning.

I want to multi-table for more volume but I am afraid of missing too much. I might be over analyzing how important it is to watch other players in online poker...

whatever you feel most comfortable with without feeling overwhelmed by all the hands coming out.. open up 1, if you feel like you want more action or its too slow then open 2, then 3.. then 4... etc

I feel comfortable with 4+ as far as being able to handle the amount of hands I'm seeing. What makes me feel uncomfortable is that I'm also trying to focus on what everyone ELSE at the tables are doing; I guess when guys 24table there's no way in hell they're focusing on the other players.

I'm sure limit holdem has to be a starting point. The beginner has to feel the basics first and if he will start to show good results in limit poker - his transfer to NL would be fast and successful.

If you are learning then limit yourself to 2 tables and really start to concentrate on what the other players at the table are doing.

Even getting a basic HUD (like poker tracker) will help you learn.

Players who play anything over 4 tables must use a HUD and/or always pay in the same games so they know the players involved already.

You cannot underestimate watching how other players play, even online, poker is a such a player dependant game!
